Promotion of eight IAS officers including IAS Deepak Rawat in Uttarakhand
The government has appointed eight officers of the Indian Administrative Service as secretaries. They have been given supertime scale on completion of 15 years of service. Secretary (Personnel and Vigilance) Shailesh Bagauli issued orders in this regard. All promoted IAS officers are of 2007 batch.
Among them Deepak Rawat, V. Shanmugam, R. Rajesh Kumar, Dr. Neeraj Khairwal, Vinay Shankar Pandey, Dipendra Chowdhary, Surendra Narayan Pandey and Vinod Kumar Suman are included.
IAS Deepak Rawat is the Commissioner of Kumaon Division, while Vinod Kumar Suman, Dipendra Chaudhary, Surendra Narayan Pandey are in-charge secretaries. Vinay Shankar Pandey and Dr. Neeraj Khairwal are currently on the post of District Magistrate.
