At present, the corona is under control in India, but preparations have already started so that the cases do not increase rapidly in the future. ICMR, NITI Aayog and all the people related to health services participated in this meeting and gave their suggestions. Nivedita Gupta, Head of Virology of ICMR, said that we will not be able to control Corona by monitoring travelers from only five countries. Protocol is necessary regarding passengers returning after traveling to many countries. Corona cases were coming in China almost a month ago.

Minister of State for Health Bharti Pawar was also present in the meeting chaired by Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya. Apart from this, Dr. VK Paul, Member, NITI Aayog, Dr. NK Arora (NTAGI), Nivedita Gupta from ICMR, Dr. Rajesh Gokhale, Secretary, Department of Biotechnology and several officials from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare were present in the meeting. Dr. Paul said in the meeting that guidelines should be issued for mask, vaccination certificate, quarantine in case of fever, quarantine of normal passengers at the international airport. Right now preventive steps are necessary. Guidelines related to the epidemic such as two yards distance, masks, regular hand washing should be implemented at airports.
