‘I am not your servant’- air hostess lashed out at the passenger in Indigo flight, heated debate about this thing

In flights, the case of crew members being insulted often comes to the fore. In such a situation, a video of a heated argument between Indigo’s air hostess and a passenger is going viral on social media, in which there was a dispute about the food being served in the flight coming from Istanbul to Delhi. In this, an air hostess told the passenger that my crew is crying because of your finger pointing.

In the video going viral, it can be seen that the member of the cabin crew is serving food only then this argument takes place. During this, a crew member walks away crying because of showing the finger. Due to this the air hostess asks the passenger to talk calmly but the passenger starts shouting and asks to be quiet. On this the air hostess says ‘Why are you shouting?’ To this the passenger says ‘because you are shouting at us’. Responding to the passenger in her own language, the air hostess says, ‘No I am very sorry sir…but you can’t talk to the crew like that. I am listening to you very quietly with all due respect. However, you have to respect the crew members as well. You can’t talk to me like this.’

At the same time, the passenger also asked that ‘how did he insult the crew?’ To this the air hostess said that she insulted the crew by pointing her finger after which the passenger tells the air hostess to ‘shut up’. In response to this, the air hostess also says ‘You shut up’ while replying to the passenger in the same tone.

The air hostess further says that ‘I am an employee here, not your servant.’ During this entire debate, an employee is repeatedly trying to calm down, after which the air hostess leaves wearing a mask.

At the same time, after the video went viral, the CEO of Indigo Airline has also given his response in favor of the air hostess. Jet Airways CEO Sanjeev Kapoor said, ‘I have said earlier also that crew are also human beings. Over the years I have seen crew members being slapped and abused on board flights. People call them servants and call them even worse.
