Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that strict instructions have been given to the hospitals regarding Ayushman Yojana that there should not be any complaint of delay in the treatment of any cardholder. The Government of Uttarakhand is following the path of simplification for the convenience of the common man. We want to develop our border villages in such a way that it becomes a model for the country and especially for the Himalayan states. Chief Minister Dhami said that the frontier district Champawat is being developed as a model district. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the “Disaster Affected Women Centered Livelihood Management Program in Border Areas” at the Chief Minister’s residence on Saturday.

It is noteworthy that with the joint efforts of SBI Foundation, HASCO and U COST, under the “Disaster Affected Women Centered Livelihood Management Program in Marginal Areas”, livelihood, self-employment opportunities are being encouraged through women self-help groups in the marginal areas of the state. Under this programme, understanding the challenges of disasters along with the economy and ecology of the 10 border villages, the local population will be prepared with a strong livelihood. It was informed by UCOST that the state’s prestigious Science Congress is being organized as ‘Gramya Vigyan Sammelan’ (टन्तंस बिपमद्बम बवधतमे) on February 10-11 next year. Along with this, for the first time in the state of Uttarakhand ‘International Disaster Conference’ is being organized in which hundreds of delegates from the country and the world will participate.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that border villages are invaluable for us, they are not only our border guards but also invaluable heritage. Marginal areas are our roots, they should be irrigated continuously. The basic mantra of the state government is to remove the disparity between villages and cities, and to create a strong village-based economy. We are determined to develop the villages in the border areas of ‘Mana-Munsiyari’, ‘Askot-Arakot’ as ‘First Line’ villages instead of ‘Last Villages’ as per the concept of Hon’ble Prime Minister. Under the Border Area Development Program, we have also given these villages the form of watchdogs, which the Prime Minister has taken a pledge to take them forward after careful deliberation at his level.

When the police reached the spot, they found the burnt body of an old woman inside. The owner of the house, Sanjay Singh Rana, identified the body as his wife Suresho Devi alias Vandana Rana. Earlier it seemed that the woman died due to burning in the fire but the investigation revealed the case of murder. In such a situation, today the police has arrested him. Murdered mother when he did not get money for drugs The next day of the incident, the husband of the deceased, Sanjay Singh, while giving a complaint to the police, told that his son Manmohan Singh used to live with his mother. He was addicted to drugs and often used to demand money from his mother. There used to be a lot of quarrel between the two when the mother refused. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
