Khaki has been stained! Two constables arrested for robbing gold worth Rs 55 lakh

Two constables posted in the Special Operation Squad of Delhi’s IGI Airport police station have been accused of robbing one kg of gold by threatening two persons. The market price of gold is around Rs 55 lakh. In this case, an FIR was registered after receiving a complaint from the aggrieved party. At the same time, after the initial investigation, the DCP suspended both the policemen while taking action. Along with this, both have been arrested and the police has started taking further action. On December 20, 2 constables posted in the Special Operation Squad of Indira Gandhi International Airport police station, first from Muscat and then from Qatar, 600 grams and 400 grams of 600 grams and 400 grams respectively from two passengers from Qatar in the name of investigation. Gold was taken away by intimidation in the name of police action. After this, both of them left for Hyderabad and Rajasthan at that time, thinking about the safety of their lives in fear.
The victims narrated the whole matter to the owner of the gold
On reaching there, when the owner of the gold asked about it, he told the whole story, after which the victim came to the IGI Airport police station and lodged a complaint against both the accused constables. After initial investigation, an FIR was lodged and then the Airport DCP suspended both while taking immediate action. Along with this, departmental inquiry is also being done by arresting them. According to the information received by the police, the gold that was brought was brought illegally, after getting information about which both the policemen wanted to pick it up.
Information given to custom officer
Now the information about this matter has been given to the custom officer, so that he can clear the whole matter after examining this gold brought in this illegal way. On the other hand, a big question mark has been raised on the working style of the police when the policemen commit such incidents like robbery or extortion from the victim. Let us tell you that the victims are poor labourers, who had gone abroad to earn and in the greed of some money, both of them came to Delhi with this gold.
