Respect the court’s decision, Congress should not do politics in Ankita’s case: Mahendra Bhatt

The BJP has advised the Congress not to do politics while respecting the court’s decision on the investigation in the Ankita murder case. BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt said that taking the Ankita murder case seriously, the government constituted the SIT on time. The SIT has also filed a charge sheet in the matter and is working impartially and without pressure as per the government and public sentiment. But the Congress has been doing politics on this sad occasion from the very beginning and has been creating an atmosphere of mistrust against the probe by the investigating agency. However, the court has rejected the petition for CBI probe in the case, which is like boosting the morale of the investigating agency. He said that the Congress is still working to incite public sentiments on this.
Terming Congress’s dharna as a political gimmick, Bhatt said that it is the result of factional struggle and fight for existence in the Congress. He said that Ankita is the daughter of the entire state and the BJP is committed to ensure that she gets justice, but the Congress is trying to take political advantage of this sad time. He said that the probe agency has cleared all the points and apprehensions in the 500-page charge sheet. A responsible party should leave negative politics and move forward in the direction of boosting the morale of the investigating agencies. He said that BJP has already removed the accused from the party immediately after the incident and is sure about the investigation. The CM has urged the court for fast track hearing of the case and is also sure that the accused will be punished through the law.
