In Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur, a case of indecency by women has come to the fore by taking a sub-inspector hostage. A video in this regard is also becoming increasingly viral on social media. In this video, the inspector is seen clutching the woman’s hand. But the voices coming from behind in the video are enough to tell the whole story. It is clear after listening to these voices that an attempt is being made to implicate the inspector. The case pertains to Kakwan police station area in Kanpur.

Taking cognizance of the viral video, Police Commissioner BP Jogdand has constituted a team of two IPS officers to investigate the matter. He has asked this team to complete the investigation of the matter as soon as possible and present the report. On the other hand, the women have given tahrir in the commissionerate headquarters apart from the police station, accusing the inspector of indecency. However, the police have made it clear that further action will be taken only after the investigation of the matter. Presently the statements of the concerned parties are being recorded in it.

According to the police, this incident is of Visajan Hari Purva. The girl living in Hari Purva had eloped and had a love marriage. A case was registered in this regard and Inspector Garvit Tyagi and Constable Mathur Chowdhary reached the woman’s house late Saturday evening for questioning. He had just started questioning that the woman and her family members started accusing the police itself. Soon the dispute escalated and a scuffle and fight started between them. Meanwhile, a family member of the woman made a video and put this video on social media. At the same time, the woman has also given a written complaint in this regard to the police.

There is a lot of contradiction between the video going viral on social media and the voice coming from behind. It is visible in the video that the sub-inspector is controlling the woman. In this, he is seen clutching the woman’s hand. But the voice of the people standing behind the mobile camera is telling a different story. In this, the family members of that woman are asking to implicate the inspector in the case of molestation. He is asking the woman to tear off her clothes and nab the inspector.

After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
