Uttarakhand / Roorkee: Fight over Facebook status, girl lashed girl, four girls arrested

A video of a scuffle between two groups of women near Hotel Center Point in Civil Lines was circulated on the internet. Due to which there was a stir in the city. In this case, the police have identified four girls and arrested them. They have been challaned under 81 Police Act. Gangnahar Kotwali area is a young dancer resident of Rampur village. A few days back he had posted a status on Facebook. A girl resident of Pathanpura Mohalla of Civil Line Kotwali area had made some comments on the status. There was a dispute between them regarding this.

Made a video and circulated it on the internet

On December 23, the girl resident of Pathanpura had come towards Rampur village for some work. Meanwhile, the girl resident of Rampur village thrashed him tremendously. After the beating, he made a video and circulated it on the Internet. The girl and her sister, resident of Pathanpura Mohalla, were angry about this.

The next day after this incident i.e. on the night of 24th December, the girl resident of Rampur village had come to Civil Lines for some work. Near Hotel Center Point in Civil Lines, both the sisters of Pathanpura surrounded the girl of Rampur village along with their fellow resident of Mehwad. They attacked him with sticks and rods. Meanwhile, someone made a video of the fight on the road and circulated it on the Internet.

After this video was circulated on the Internet, SSP Ajay Singh had given instructions to investigate it. Investigation revealed that this video is from near the Center Point Hotel. After which he had instructed the Civil Lines Kotwali police to mark the girls and take action. Pradeep Tomar, senior sub-inspector of Civil Line Kotwali identified these girls and arrested them late on Sunday night. In-charge Inspector Devendra Chauhan told that challan action has been taken against the girls under 81 Police Act.

Actually this incident is of 3rd August. Where Herbertpur police got information about a fire in a house in Rambagh area. When the police reached the spot, they found the burnt body of an old woman inside. The owner of the house, Sanjay Singh Rana, identified the body as his wife Suresho Devi alias Vandana Rana. Earlier it seemed that the woman died due to burning in the fire but the investigation revealed the case of murder. In such a situation, today the police has arrested him. Murdered mother when he did not get money for drugs The next day of the incident, the husband of the deceased, Sanjay Singh, while giving a complaint to the police, told that his son Manmohan Singh used to live with his mother. He was addicted to drugs and often used to demand money from his mother. There used to be a lot of quarrel between the two when the mother refused. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
