Delhi: Anjali kept on screaming, the car drivers kept on dragging her; Friend told how the accident happened

Anjali’s friend Nidhi has made important revelations in the Kanjhawala case of national capital Delhi. In a conversation with a news channel, Nidhi has told that Anjali had consumed alcohol before the accident and had consumed too much. Nidhi told that after the accident she went under the car and I fell away from the car. Those who were driving the car rocked the car back and forth. That girl (Anjali) was crying and screaming. But they did not listen and dragged the girl away. Nidhi further told that we were coming comfortably. She was about to leave me and go home. She was trapped inside the car after the accident. Despite noticing that Anjali is trapped under the vehicle, the drivers ignore it and drive away. Neither many songs were playing in the car nor was there anything else. They knew that the girl was trapped under the car. They deliberately dragged the girl away. He saw that she was a girl. Still they dragged the girl away.
Said this about Anjali’s boyfriend
Nidhi told that there was some tu-tu-me-me with her (Anjali) boyfriend. I don’t know what happened between the two of them. As soon as he came out of the hotel, he said let’s go home. She told me to give me the scooty or else I will jump. After that I gave him the keys of the scooty. We narrowly avoided hitting the truck before hitting the car. Narrating the whole story, Nidhi said that we left the hotel and after some time the accident happened due to a collision with a car on the road. The car had hit from the front.
This is how Nidhi’s friendship with Anjali happened
Nidhi has told in the conversation that I had met Anjali through a friend of mine. Within a few days, we both had a good bonding. We had decided to have a party at the hotel. She had come to take me to my house in Sultanpuri. Then she took me to Rohini’s house. After this she took the scooty key from home and took me to Oyo Hotel. After that we had a party there. He called all his friends. We were sitting in the hotel and it was decided in the hotel that we will have a party. Anjali used to get angry very quickly.
We left Oyo Hotel at around 2 pm. This accident happened while going towards home. Earlier, we survived a collision in a truck. That girl was shouting that if I don’t get my boyfriend, I will die. After this he took the scooty from me. After going a short distance, a car coming from the front hit us. Anjali gets trapped under the car. She was screaming that save, save. But the boys deliberately dragged him.
Nidhi also got hurt in the accident
Nidhi told that I too had got hurt in my hand and eye. If those boys had stopped the car and removed Anjali, then perhaps Anjali would not have died, but the boys deliberately dragged the girl.
What did Nidhi do after the accident
Nidhi said in this conversation that the people in the car dragged Anjali away. Nidhi had gone home. After coming home there was mother and grandmother. I told them that the girl was dragged under the car. After being dragged away, he did not even look back. I went home on foot. My house was a little far from there.
Why didn’t you tell the police?
During a conversation with news channel ‘Aaj Tak’, when Nidhi was asked that why did she not inform the police about such a big accident? Why did she remain silent for so long? On this, Nidhi said that when they dragged Anjali under the car, she became very helpless. Nidhi said she thought the car driver would drop her after going a short distance. But the news channel reported that the girl was dragged for several kilometres. Nidhi said that she was scared that if she said something, everyone would blame her. She had become very helpless. She was feeling that all this may not go on her, so she remained silent.
Anjali was not sexually assaulted
A 20-year-old woman in Delhi, who was dragged for several kilometers after being hit by a car, died of haemorrhage and trauma resulting from head, spinal cord and lower limb injuries. The police gave this information on Tuesday citing the primary report of the postmortem. This is also indicated in the report.
