Jasprit Bumrah suffered a back injury during the T20 series against Australia in September last year. After which he missed the ICC T20 World Cup, limited overs series in New Zealand and Bangladesh. Before the series against Sri Lanka, the fans were expecting that he would make a strong comeback in international cricket, but after this update from BCCI, they became very angry and started trolling him on social media.

Fans on social media told IPL the reason for Bumrah’s exclusion from the Sri Lanka series. Many believe that the fast bowler of Mumbai Indians does not want to take any risk before IPL and he will be fully fit by the time this tournament comes.
