Uttarakhand: Emergency cabinet meeting on January 13 in Joshimath landslide case, Dhami government may take big decisions

An emergency meeting of the cabinet has been called at the secretariat on January 13 under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. In this cabinet meeting, mainly the proposal to give maximum compensation to the disaster affected families of Joshimath can be approved. Along with this, the government can also take a big decision regarding the authority. A decision is also to be taken regarding conducting a fresh survey of the villages and towns situated in other areas like Joshimath in the hilly areas of the state.

The state government is working on a war footing with the Center on the Joshimath issue. Now the state government has also decided to call an emergency cabinet meeting soon in this matter. There will be a cabinet meeting of the Dhami government on January 13. Some important decisions regarding Joshimath can be taken in this meeting. There can be some big decisions regarding the power projects running in this area and the disaster affected people. The government has made a road map to rehabilitate all the affected families of Joshimath at some other place. Therefore, the proposal to make some changes in the provisions of rehabilitation can also be approved in this meeting.
