Uttar Pradesh / Etawah: SP did not give leave, constable reached office with child’s dead body, sat on dharna!

Often negligence takes the form of a major accident.  In Etawah district of the state, a case of big negligence has come to the fore due to which an innocent person has lost his life.  The 2-year-old innocent son of police constable Sonu Chaudhary, living in a rented house in Ekta Colony under Thana Friends Colony of Etawah city, was playing outside the house.  During this, he fell on the mattress made outside the house, in which drain water had accumulated.  Due to which the child died.  The angry constable reached the SP office with the dead body of the child.  Accusing the SSP of not giving leave, he said that he had sought leave from SP City for his wife’s operation.  But he did not give leave.

According to the information, Constable Sonu Singh lives with his family in Friend Colony of Etawah, who is posted in the same police station.  On Tuesday, when the news of the child was not received for a long time, the relatives started searching for him.  Only then the neighbors informed about the child falling in the mattress.  In a hurry, the relatives took him to the hospital where the doctor declared him dead after examining him.  SP City Kapil Dev Singh said that ‘Constable of our department Sonu Singh is working in Vaidpura police station.  QRT is doing duty in police line.  His two-year-old son fell into the overflowing drain and died. The incident is very sad, the police is investigating it in detail.
