On the occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, Union Minister of State for Defense and Tourism Ajay Bhatt unveiled the statue of Swami Vivekananda and inaugurated the musical fountain at Jail Road Choraha at a cost of 72.27 lakhs. He said that on the occasion of Vivekananda Jayanti, Jail Road intersection was named Swami Vivekananda Choraha.

Union Minister of State for Defense and Tourism Bhatt said that Vivekananda Jayanti is celebrated as National Youth Day. He said that the Central Government is continuously making efforts for the all-round development of the state. Ajay Bhatt said that the work on the announcement of Prime Minister Modi will be done soon, due to which the beautification of Haldwani city will be enhanced.

On this occasion, Mayor Dr. Jogender Pal Singh Rautela said that the Chief Minister had announced to make the Jail Road intersection as Swami Vivekananda Square, the Municipal Corporation is continuously working on the instructions of the government to widen the intersections to increase the beautification of the city. Is working In this direction, on Thursday, on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, the residents of the city have been given the gift of this beautiful intersection, in which musical fountain, Swami Vivekananda’s statue and I love Haldwani selfie point have also been made.
