Uttarakhand: Strict law like life imprisonment for copycat mafias will prove to be the last nail in the coffin- Manveer Chauhan

Describing the decision to bring a law to make provision for life imprisonment in the cabinet to curb the copying mafia, the BJP said that this law would prove to be the last nail in the coffin of the mafia. Party’s state media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan said that the copying mafia active in the pursuit of robbing the rights of the unemployed can be defeated only by such a strict law. He described the timely action taken by the government on the mafia’s actions in the Patwari exam as a better and extraordinary step. The property of copycat mafia will also be confiscated, due to which fear will spread among the criminals.

Chouhan said that the CM Pushkar Dhami government has taken several tough steps against corruption, which is an example. Instead of suppressing the cases in the previous Congress governments, action would have been taken if the mafia’s morale would have been battered instead of high.

Chouhan said that this action must have instilled hope in the youth. There will be no encroachment on their rights. He told the youth to appear in the examination on the new date and get the facility of free travel in the same admit card and Uttarakhand Transport bus as a relief step. Of course, the exam has been delayed by a month, but the youth will appear in the exam with transparency.

Chouhan said that there is a need for such laws in the state which cannot play with the interests of the youth and the unemployed. He said that the people of the state have expectations from the young CM and the way he has given a message with his tough decisions, this time also he will become an example.

Dhami government’s prompt action in paper leak case, zero tolerance against corruption, Congress’s allegations unfortunate: Mahendra Bhatt

The BJP termed Dhami government’s prompt action in the Patwari exam leak episode as a commitment of zero tolerance against corruption. On the other hand, the opposition’s allegations on this have been described as politically motivated and unfortunate. Party state president Mahendra Bhatt said that the difference is clear in all such cases that have come to the fore since the creation of the state. Even the ministers of Congress governments were involved in recruitment scams and they tried to suppress them let alone take action in such cases. At the same time, transparent, strict and decisive action is being taken in the BJP government. Mahendra Bhatt has expressed satisfaction over the disclosure of the current Patwari recruitment exam leak episode and the arrest of the accused. He said that it is the moral courage of the Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami that he did not take any time to catch the culprits of the paper leak and in the view of justice to the youth, canceled the examination immediately and announced new dates.

Taking a dig at the Congress, he said, earlier in their rule in 2003 and 2016, there was rigging in Patwari recruitment, but never took action against the culprits and on the contrary, there were serious allegations of carrying out scams under the patronage of their ministers. Similarly, there were irregularities in dozens of appointment cases in their government, but alas, when they had the authority to act on scams, nothing was done and now the BJP government is taking action, so they are the first to create hue and cry.

BJP’s policy and intentions are clear. Every examination should be done with transparency and the place of the corrupt should be behind bars. Even before this, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, showing moral courage without seeing the time limit, has put behind the bars the culprits of the scams in the recruitment of the State Subordinate Selection Service Commission. No matter how influential the scammers are, no one will be spared. If Congress had also taken similar decisions on time, corruption would not have flourished like this. The Dhami government is moving ahead in the matter of development and employment and will move forward with the resolve to uproot the vine of corruption during the tenure of the Congress.
