Allahabad High Court imposed a fine of 25 thousand on Yogi Sarkar

The Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court has imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on the UP government. The court imposed this fine for not filing counter affidavit in the case pending for seven years. The matter was heard by a division bench of Chief Justice Rajesh Bindal and Justice Brij Raj Singh. The bench imposed a fine on the Yogi government on a PIL filed by petitioner Guru Prasad.
Penalty imposed in the 2015 case
News agency ANI told that now the next hearing in this case will be on 21 February. On the other hand, if the reply is not filed till the next hearing, the Principal Secretary will have to appear in the Revenue Court. It may be noted that the petition is pending since 2015, but the state government has not yet filed any counter affidavit in the matter. In such a situation, the court has now imposed a fine.
At the same time, the court has also given exemption to recover the amount of compensation from the responsible officer for not filing the reply on behalf of the state government. Along with this, it has been clarified by the court that the amount of fine should be deposited in the arbitration center of the High Court.
Let us tell you that earlier, taking an important decision in the interest of sugarcane farmers, the Lucknow bench of the High Court imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on the UP government. The matter was regarding the payment of sugarcane farmers. In this matter, a petition was filed in the High Court by the Rashtriya Kisan Mazdoor Sangathan. Hearing the petition, the court passed the order.
Plan to connect farmers with solar energy
The Yogi government is working on an action plan to connect the farmers of the state with solar energy. Explain that UP Power Corporation (UPPCL) has decided to implement it in 6 districts through Kusum Yojana. Through this, farmers will be able to set up solar power plants on their barren land. Different banks will help the farmers for this. The state government will also provide subsidy to them for this.
Farmers will be able to sell the electricity generated from the solar power generation center to the government or private power companies and increase their income. Under the scheme, solar power generation centers will be set up in Bijnor, Hathras, Mahoba, Jalaun, Deoria and Lucknow.
