In Nagla Mali of Gandhi Park police station area late on Thursday night, a young man was shot in his genitals. Police received information that two youths riding a bike had shot him, while investigation revealed that the youth was having a dispute over land. That’s why he himself was roaming around with a pistol. He had put the loaded pistol in the knot. Suddenly a bullet was fired by mistake, which hit his genitals. In the case of misleading the police by giving false information, on the contrary, a case is being registered against the youth on behalf of the police.
According to information, Kapil, son of Nagla Mali resident Vinod Thakur, used to work in a private company. He lost his job a few days ago. According to the police, the land on Kapil Paksha was sold by the elders of the family. Since then there is a dispute between the Kapil side regarding the land. The matter is sub judice.
The incident happened on Thursday late night. Kapil was standing outside the house attending a religious program organized at the place of a friend living nearby. It is alleged that only then two bike-riding youths came and shot him and went away. The bullet exited near Kapil’s genitals. He fell on the ground bleeding. Hearing Kapil’s cries, his friends and brothers came, who hurriedly took him to the district hospital. Seeing his critical condition from there, he was referred to JN Medical College.
Inspector Gandhipark Ravindra Kumar Dubey told that the people of the locality and the relatives of the injured were interrogated. In the investigation, it has come to know that the young man is also having a dispute with his brothers regarding the land. That’s why he also accused some people of threatening him. Before the incident, Kapil himself was roaming around with a pistol. He put a pistol in his keel. During this, a bullet was fired by mistake, which hit him. Later, with the intention of getting the charges registered, he misled the police by giving false information. In such a situation, now the charges are being registered against the youth.
