Seminar on ‘Participation of women in sports’ in Dehradun, CM honored the player

On the occasion of National Girl Child Day, a seminar was organized by the Uttarakhand State Women’s Commission on the topic ‘Participation of women in sports’. State, national and international level girls and women players as well as coaches participated in the seminar. During this, players and coaches shared their experiences. In the sports seminar organized in Dehradun, the participants were informed about the schemes and sports programs being run in relation to various sports at the state level. Also, the facilities provided by the government to the players were informed. So that players can take advantage of it. Along with this, the strategy was also discussed to encourage and promote women players in the state.

At the same time, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who arrived as the chief guest at the seminar, said that the government is committed to provide facilities to the girls and women of the state. Because, where there should be empowerment of women, there should also be their security. Therefore, the government is running various schemes, mainly the Gaura Shakti app has also been launched. Due to which there will be security of women, as well as there will be empowerment of women.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that he is proud that the women power of Uttarakhand is raising the name of the state at various places. Women Empowerment and Child Development Minister Rekha Arya honored the girls doing excellent work. He said that today the girls of the state are hoisting the flag in the country and the world.

Strict action will be taken against those who insult the daughter

CM Dhami said that the safety of daughters is the responsibility of all of us. As the main servant of the state, we will never back down from taking strictest action against anyone who insults any daughter of the state. Our daughters are our pride, honor and pride.

30 percent reservation in government jobs for women of Uttarakhand

Apart from this, Chief Minister Dhami said that the state government has made a provision to give 30 percent reservation to women in government jobs. Our daughters will play an important role in the goal of making Uttarakhand the best state on the silver jubilee of the establishment of the state. Let us tell you that National Girl Child Day is celebrated on 24 January. It started in the year 2008. So that, awareness can be spread about the inequalities faced by girls in the society. Under this, awareness campaign about Save the Girl Child, Child Sex Ratio and creation of a healthy and safe environment for girls is included.
