Uttarakhand: Modi government’s budget has disappointed the common people- Congress state media in-charge

Senior Congress leader and the party’s state media in-charge Rajeev Mehrishi has termed the Union government’s budget presented in Parliament on Wednesday as extremely disappointing and anti-people. He said that by keeping the basic issues on hold, Modi hospitality has expressed its intention, there is no talk of employment in the budget, no relief for the youth and no effort has been made to give relief to the farmers.

Maharishi said that in the field of education and health the budget has been reduced as compared to last year. Not only this, scissors have also been used on the Minority Welfare Scheme, while the Modi government has been beating the drum of everyone’s support for the last nine years.

Maharishi said that the Modi government at the Center has not even tried to provide relief to the common people, whereas in the present times the common people are groaning due to the high inflation.

He said that by cutting the budget of MNREGA, the Modi government itself has removed the mask from its anti-people face. The reduction of about forty percent in the scheme started for the relief of the distressed people in rural areas is beyond comprehension. The government, which shows the dream of making the country a world guru, is determined to snatch the morsel from the poor man’s mouth. The public will decide on time.
