Uttarakhand / Dehradun: Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, two-day Kabaddi competition inaugurated, 16 teams will participate
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh North Mahanagar Dehradun inaugurated a two-day kabaddi competition today at Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College Nathuawala Dehradun with the aim of promoting traditional sports. 16 teams are participating in this competition. In which teams of 11 towns, 3 colleges and two Vivekananda Vidya Mandirs are included from the union point of view. The inauguration of the sports competition was started by the flag hoisting and lighting of the flower archan lamp on the picture of Bharat Mata by metropolitan union leader Chandragupt Vikram, co-union leader Rajendra Ramola, Karyavah Arun Sharma and head of village development activities of the province, Lalit Barakoti.
Addressing the volunteers present on the occasion, Metropolitan Sanghchalak Chandragupt Vikram said that today the importance of sports is increasing in the entire country. In such a situation, interest should be awakened in the youth towards their ancient games and the game should not only be physical but also mentally and strengthen the feelings of collectivism, the aim is to get this done through this competition.
In the beginning, collective Hanuman Chalisa was also recited by all the players. On this occasion, Co-Principal Physical Head Ashish Oberoi, Department Physical Head Anand Rawat, Department Intellectual Head Udaypal, Department Service Chief Umadatt Semwal, Metropolitan campaigner Rakesh, Physical Head Suman Intellectual Harish Raturi, Manoj, Aviral and sports competition coordinator Surendra Chauhan, Gambhir Singh, Rupak Puri, Anand Prakash, along with all the prominent workers of 11 cities of the metropolitan and union plan were present.
