Delhi: Locked in the house due to the fear of Corona! A 7-year-old child turned 10, there was a pile of garbage… even her husband was not allowed to enter the house.
What people did not do to avoid infection during the Corona period. Stopped leaving the house. Took social distance. Sanitized hands after touching food and drink. Even the necessary breaths to live were not taken without a mask. Not only this, the fear of deadly infection was so much that people living in the same house-flat were not even leaving their rooms. But despite the almost finished Covid in India, a case that came out from Gurugram (Gurgaon) in Haryana has surprised people. In fact, the woman living in Metro City was imprisoned at home with her 7-year-old son till the first wave of Kovid. Three years later, he was rescued by the police and health department team. Now that child is 10 years old. Now the question is arising that how did the woman survive inside the house for three years?
This is the whole matter of Gurugram adjacent to the capital Delhi. Gungun (name changed), a 35-year-old resident of the city’s Maruti Vihar Colony, had confined herself in the house with her innocent son (10 years) for three years. He felt that as soon as he came out, he and his son would become victims of corona infection. The fear of Corona was so strong in the woman’s mind that she did not allow her husband Rajeev (name changed) to enter the house since 2020. The helpless husband first cut his friend’s house for several months and then he started living nearby in Chakkarpur area with a rented room and then started talking to his wife and son on video call. Along with this, he used to transfer money to his wife’s account every month after getting his salary.
Goods used to be kept at the gate
On the other hand, being imprisoned at home, the woman started ordering vegetables and household items online. The delivery boy used to leave the parcel at the gate itself. Many times the husband used to bring the goods and keep them at the gate. Then wearing a mask, she used to pick it up and use it after sanitizing it. Not only this, he did not have to go out to throw garbage, so he had kept a pile of garbage inside the house.
Eating on induction when the cylinder is over
On not coming out, the adamant woman had even stopped ordering gas cylinders. He believed that he would get corona infection from the cylinder givers. She used to cook food on induction stove for the last three years.
Child’s online class
The woman suffering from fear of Corona did not even allow her child to go out and used to talk to the school and get her online classes done. Along with this, tuition was also taught through internet only. On the other hand, she used to pay the child’s fees as soon as she got money from her husband.
Did not agree even after husband’s persuasion
Rajeev, who was living in a rented room, tried to convince his wife several times over video call, but she did not agree. The woman said that the child will get the Kovid vaccine only then she will come out of the house, but now 10-year-old children are not getting vaccinated.
Father-in-law also gave up
On the other hand, troubled by the behavior of the wife, the woman’s Rajeev also called his father-in-law. Then the father explained to his daughter and told that now the corona cases are almost over and there is no danger. Despite this, Gungun remained imprisoned in the house.
Police had to help
Now, almost three years later, Rajeev’s patience was broken and on 17 February, he sought help from ASI Praveen Kumar, posted at the Chakkarpur police post. Rajiv, an engineer by profession, told that for the first time in the year 2020, when the lockdown was relaxed, he went out for a job, since then the wife did not allow him to enter the house.
ASI did not believe
For the first time, after hearing the unique case, the police officer could not even believe the words of the complainant. But when Rajiv talked to his wife and son on video call, then the ASI intervened in the matter.
