Uttarakhand: State Committee of the CPI (ML) has elected Indresh Maikhuri as State Secratary

State Committee of the CPI (ML) has elected Com Indresh Maikhuri as the new State Secretary, Expressing joy, resolved to strengthen CPI (ML) and mass movements in the entire state.
Addressing the online meeting of the State Committee, National General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya said that “the country is currently facing a serious political challenge. Constitution, democracy, justice and all institutions in the country have been attacked by the central government.” Strong mass movements led by the Left and opposition unity are needed to deal with communal fascism.”

Com Dipankar Bhattacharya told in the meeting that “Comrade Raja Bahuguna, the present state secretary of the party, has been elected as the chairman of the Central Control Commission and according to the rules of the party, the chairman of the control commission cannot hold any other position in the party.” Dipankar Bhattacharya proposed to elect a new state secretary. On which all the state committee members unanimously elected Indresh Maikhuri as the state secretary.
Comrade Indresh Maikhuri, the newly elected State Secretary of the CPI(ML), said, “At present, the ruling party has launched an all-out attack on life, employment and environment in Uttarakhand. Employment of youth in the state is being looted openly. People in different parts are struggling to save their water-forest-land.On the pretext of G20, the central and state government is working to bring the people on the road by demolishing the houses and shops of Udham Singh Nagar and Nainital people, Industrialists from Sidkul are illegally shutting down industries overnight and making thousands of workers unemployed, but the government is keeping silent.
Indresh Maikhuri said that the CPI (ML) party is firmly standing with the people on the questions of the people of the state and will try for the unity of the struggling forces in the state.
All the members took a pledge to increase and strengthen the work of the party under the leadership of Indresh Maikhuri.
