All England Championships: Lakshya Sen loses, defeating former world number one pair Trisha-Gayathri in last-16

Indian young badminton player Lakshya Sen crashed out of the All England Championships after losing in the last-16 of the men’s singles. Sen, last year’s runner-up, did not look in his best form and lost in straight games to Andres Antonsen 13-21, 15-21 in 52 minutes.

A defeat in the last-16 will cost Sen ranking points. Former world No. 6 Sen had also made a first round exit at the German Open.
