Bracewell was unsold in the auction
Michael Bracewell did not find a buyer in the mini auction held in December. His base price was Rs 1 crore. This all-rounder of New Zealand cricket team has never played in IPL before.
Michael Bracewell’s Career
Michael Bracewell made his T20 debut for New Zealand in the year 2022. In 16 T20 Internationals, he has scored 113 runs as well as taken 21 wickets. Along with this, he has taken 15 wickets in addition to 510 runs in 19 ODIs. At the same time, 259 runs and 19 wickets have also been taken in seven Test matches.
Jacques injured against Bangladesh
Jaques, who was ruled out of the tournament due to injury, was bought by the franchise for Rs 3.2 crore. Jacques was injured during the second ODI against Bangladesh. He suffered a muscle injury while fielding in the second ODI against Bangladesh. He had a scan earlier this week and after expert advice, he decided to pull out of the entire IPL season.
New season from 31 march
The new season of IPL is starting from 31 March. The first match of this season will be played between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings. At the same time, RCB’s first match will be against Mumbai Indians at M Chinnaswamy Stadium on 2 April.
