Action against Khalistan supporter Amritpal Singh, Punjab government imposes NSA

Action is going on against Khalistan supporter Amritpal Singh and his close ones. Meanwhile, the Punjab government has told the High Court that the National Security Act (NSA) has been invoked against Singh. The lawyer has informed about this. Earlier, the Punjab-Haryana High Court reprimanded the state government in the Amritpal Singh case.
Expressing displeasure over the failure of Operation Amritpal, the High Court asked what the 80,000 soldiers of the Punjab Police were doing. Till now Amritpal Singh is absconding. This is the intelligence failure of the Punjab Police. Intelligence system is a complete failure.
Meanwhile, the Amritsar Police has taken a non-bailable warrant against Amritpal Singh. Amritpal Singh is absconding since March 18. Let us tell you that on Saturday (March 18), the Punjab Police started action against Amritpal Singh and his organization Waris Punjab De. The police chased him for several kilometres, though he managed to escape.
Police has so far arrested more than 100 people. During this, a large amount of weapons have been seized. To maintain law and order, the Punjab government had banned the internet. Which was restored on Tuesday.
CM’s statement
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that peace and harmony of Punjab and progress of the country is our priority. We will not spare any force working against the country. “Strict action will be taken against anyone trying to disturb harmony,” Mann said.

Punjab Inspector General of Police (Headquarters) Sukhchain Singh Gill said on Monday that the police suspected an “ISI angle” and foreign funding in the case. In response to a question, he said that Rasuka has been imposed against five persons associated with the organization.
