Uttarakhand: Dhami 2.0 government completes 1 year term, 50% discount on roadways fare for competitive exam students, announcement of special policy for folk festivals
Dhami 2.0 government’s tenure has completed one year. On this occasion, a large scale program was organized in Dehradun. The book ‘Ek Saal Nai Misal’ was released in this programme. Through this book, the government explained the works done by it in this year. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, who reached the program, said that on this very day, the people of Uttarakhand had broken the myth and given him an opportunity to work again.
What did CM Dhami say on completion of one year
CM Dhami said that this happened for the first time in the politics of Uttarakhand when the public has given a chance to a party to work again. He said that the public knows who can develop this state. The victory that was won a year ago was the victory of the people of the state. It was the victory of the dreams of the people. The people of Uttarakhand have seen and tested the works. CM Dhami said that this one year has been dedicated to the state. He said that we may not have been completely successful in our desire, but our goal is fixed. This is the reason why people have given us their full support.
CM Dhami said that the government is making efforts to make Uttarakhand one of the leading states of the country. The tenure of one year is very short for evaluation, but in this one year the government has done many big things. Has done the work of putting the promise of the public on the ground. The Uniform Civil Code will be implemented as soon as the draft of the UCC is ready. Along with this, people are being converted in the rural areas of the state by intimidation and allurement, to control which the Conversion Act has been brought.
CM Dhami said that the priority of the government is the interest of the state. He said that this is a stable government, it will neither stop nor bow down. He said that if the time comes to bow down, the government will bow down only in front of the public. Many projects have been approved within the last one year. In view of the demand of sports university, CM Dhami also talked about upgrading Haldwani to make sports university. CM Dhami said that Chief Minister Skill Development Scheme will be started in the state. Under the Mukhyamantri Gram Sadak Yojana, pucca roads will be made in villages where the population is 250. Schools will be started on the go for the children of labourers. Recognition will be given to all the folk festivals for the promotion and development of the cultural heritage of Uttarakhand. For which a policy will be made by forming a committee.
