Uttarakhand: One year of Dhami government dedicated to action and development against corruption – Manveer Chauhan
Describing the government’s one-year tenure as historic, the BJP said that this period will be known as a tough attack against corruption and speeding up development. Talking to reporters at Rudraprayag BJP headquarters, state media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan said that according to the party’s resolution letter, the government has taken prompt action against corruption, which hinders development, and has set a decisive distance for the development of the state. During this period, the committee has taken exemplary steps like anti-conversion law, uniform code of conduct law, women’s and state agitational reservation, country’s most stringent copy bill.
Chouhan said that the result of the historic works of the government is that today the state is seen fulfilling the vision of Prime Minister Modi and the goal of Uttarakhand’s decade in the present decade. The historic steps taken by the government on the subject of conversion law, anti-copying law and the proposed Uniform Civil Code have become examples for other states in the country. At the same time, the Dhami government took strong action against institutional corruption including record arrests and imposition of Gangster Act in the state. Strict action was taken after fair and quick investigation in all the cases that came to the fore regarding irregularities in the recruitment case, which was appreciated by both the public and the court.
He said that even after the unexpected and tragic disaster in Joshimath, our government has given the best rehabilitation package to the affected people in minimum time by conducting quick and expected relief works. Due to the efficient financial management of the government, today Uttarakhand is moving towards a fast growing economy. With an increase of 18.05 percent in the budget size, a surplus budget of 4309 crores has been brought. In which importance has been given to agriculture, horticulture, rural development, health, tourism and infrastructure along with the basic mantra of providing better education and better employment to the youth. Through women’s reservation, the effort to give full rights to half of the state’s population is going to be fruitful. On the other hand, by taking the decision to give reservation to the state building agitators for a long time, the government has done the work of honoring the martyrs and agitating families of the state building.
He said that women and youth have been given priority in the recently released budget. This mega budget will prove to provide employment and the glimpse of self-reliant Uttarakhand is clearly visible in the budget. The works of the Dhami government are also getting public support. The success achieved in Panchayat elections of Haridwar and District Panchayat Rudra Prayag are examples of this.
