On Gandhi’s statement that he does not have a degree, Tushar Gandhi said – this will happen if you make illiterate governors
Tushar Gandhi, the great-grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, has rubbished Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor LG Manoj Sinha’s claim that the Father of the Nation did not have a single university degree.
Tushar Gandhi said in a tweet, ‘Mahatma Gandhi has two matriculation degrees. The first one is from Alfred High School Rajkot and the second such degree is from London. He studied and passed the law degree examination at the Inner Temple, a law college affiliated with the University of London, and holds a diploma each in Latin and French. This information is being given to educate the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir.

Tushar Gandhi said on Sinha’s statement, ‘If illiterate people are made governors, this will be the result. He had a law degree, but it was definitely not an entire law degree. Like Modi ji has an entire law degree in political science.
He further told this newspaper that Bapu has written everything from his education to his life in his autobiography. I will send a copy of this to Manoj Sinha, so that he can increase his understanding.
It is notable that Manoj Sinha had talked about Gandhiji’s educational qualification during a program at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Memorial Lecture at ITM Gwalior on March 24.
According to news agency ANI, he had said, ‘It is a misconception that Gandhiji had a law degree. Do you know that he did not have a single university degree? His only qualification was a high school diploma. He was qualified to practice law, but did not have a law degree. He did not have any degree, but he was so educated.
Gandhi did a lot for the nation. But everything that was achieved, the focal point of it was Truth. If you look at all the aspects of his life, there was nothing besides Truth in his life. He had said, ‘Gandhi did a lot for the country, but whatever was achieved, the center point of it was truth. If we look at all the aspects of his life, there was nothing but truth in his life. No matter how many challenges, Mahatma Gandhi never abandoned the truth and recognized his inner voice. As a result, he became the father of the nation. ,
Condemning Sinha’s remarks, Tushar Gandhi tweeted, “I have sent a copy of Bapu’s autobiography to Raj Bhavan Jammu with the hope that if the Lt Governor can read, he will educate himself.”
