Smriti Irani’s pain spilled after years, the producer had to show evidence of miscarriage; Ekta spoke – If the fetus was left, she would have brought it too
Union Minister Smriti Irani has revealed that she suffered a miscarriage while shooting for the TV serial ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’. The very next day he was called on the shoot. Smriti said this in an interview. It was uploaded to YouTube on Saturday.
According to Smriti, the co-actors working with her had filled the ears of producer Ekta Kapoor that the miscarriage was a lie. In response to this, Smriti went to Ekta the next day with the medical report. He told Ekta that if her fetus had survived, she would have brought it as proof.
Smriti used to work in two shifts

She said that she used to work for Ramayan during the day while in the night shift because she used to shoot for Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. During this, she became pregnant and then she learned a lesson about humanity.
Bleeding started while returning from shooting
Smriti said in the interview, ‘I did not know that I was pregnant. I was on the sets of the serial at that time. I told the makers of the show that I am not feeling well at the moment, so please let me go home. Despite this, I worked until they let me go. It was evening when I left.
Doctors advised me to get sonography done. In the middle of the way I started bleeding. I remember it was raining at that time. I told the auto driver to take me to the hospital soon.
Was asked to come on the shoot the very next day of miscarriage
Smriti further said in the interview, ‘When I reached the hospital, a nurse came running and asked me for an autograph. I told him that you will admit because I feel that I have had a miscarriage. A day later, Smriti got a call from the production team of ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ asking her to come for the shoot the next day. Then Smriti said, ‘I told you that I had a miscarriage and I am not feeling well.’ The answer came from there – no one, come in the 2 o’clock shift’
Only Ravi Chopra showed generosity
Smriti said that apart from her there were 50 other characters in ‘Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’, but she was playing the role of Sita in Ramayana, so she had no option in that.
However, Ravi Chopra showed a lot of generosity at that time. Smriti requests Ravi stating her problem and asks if she can come one hour late for the 7 o’clock shift. In response, Ravi said, ‘Have you gone mad, do you know what it feels like to lose a child. There is no need to come tomorrow.’
