Uttarakhand: The Chief Secretary held a meeting regarding the announcements made by the CM, instructions were given to the officers to fulfill the announcements made on March 23

Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. Sandhu took a meeting in the Secretariat on Tuesday regarding the announcements made by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on the occasion of completion of one year tenure of the government. The Chief Secretary instructed the officers to complete the Chief Minister’s announcements on priority basis. He said that the announcements on which work can be started immediately, work should be started on those announcements, policy draft should be prepared in the next 10 days for the fulfillment of those announcements.
The Chief Secretary instructed to fix the time period for the completion of all the announcements. He said that the concerned department should prepare a policy for 50 percent exemption in rent for the candidates of competitive examinations. He instructed the concerned departments to provide mobile labs to the districts under the Lab on Wheel scheme.
The Chief Secretary said that arrangement of playgrounds should be ensured in all the master plans being prepared to ensure arrangement of children’s playgrounds. For this, talks should be held with the school and college management to use the grounds of schools and colleges, the maintenance amount of playgrounds would be spent by the government. The Chief Secretary said that continuous monitoring should be done to give instructions to set a deadline for the completion of all the announcements.
On this occasion Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Secretary R. Meenakshi Sundaram, Shailesh Bagoli, Arvind Singh Hyanki, Sachin Kurve, Dr.B.V.R.C. Purushottam, Ravinath Raman, Dr. R. Other high officials including Rajesh Kumari and Dipendra Kumar Chowdhary were present.
