Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya’s two-day visit to Uttarakhand, will lay the foundation stone of three critical care blocks

Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya will be on Uttarakhand tour on 30 and 31 March. During the two-day tour, he will stay at Malari village of Chamoli border district on March 30 and will lay the foundation stone of a 500-bed hospital at Doon Medical College on March 31. Officials are busy preparing for his visit. State Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will reach Dehradun on March 30 as a state guest during his two-day visit. The Prime Minister will inspect the Jan Aushadhi Kendra located at Canal Road Jakhan from the state guest house at 10 am.
Will discuss various issues
After this GTC Helipad will leave for Army Helipad Malari Chamoli from Dehradun. From where he will reach ITBP Camp Malari Village at 12:30 pm. After staying at the ITBP camp for about an hour, the minister will discuss various issues under the Vibrant Village Program with the villagers and public representatives of Malari. After this, he will review the Vibrant Village Program with the officials of the district administration. Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat told that apart from Malari, he will also visit the nearby villages of Kailashpur, Gurguti, Bampa, Gamshali and Niti. Meanwhile, the Union Minister will also interact with ASHA workers, who are considered to be the backbone of the health department, and discuss the health facilities in the border areas.
Will lay the foundation stone of three critical care blocks
Dr. Rawat said that after visiting Malari, the Union Health Minister will return to Dehradun on March 31. Where he will lay the foundation stone of various schemes of the Health Department at 11:30 am at Chief Minister’s residence. Under which 500 bed capacity hospital of Doon Medical College and ECRP-2 and three critical care of 50-50 beds approved for three districts Srinagar (Pauri), Rudraprayag and Nainital under Pradhan Mantri-Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM) The foundation stone of the block is included. He will leave for Delhi from Jolly Grant Airport at around 3 pm.
What is Vibrant Village Program
In view of the strategic importance of the country’s northern border, the Vibrant Village Program has been started by the Government of India, which will run from the financial year 2022-23 to 2025-26. For this, a provision of Rs 4800 crore has been made by the Government of India, out of which Rs 2500 crore will be spent on the construction of roads. This program will strengthen livelihood opportunities and infrastructure in 19 districts and 46 border blocks of four states and one union territory.
663 villages have been covered in the first phase of the programme, which will ensure inclusive development in the northern border region. This program will provide quality opportunities to the people living here. The objective of the scheme is to identify and develop economic drivers based on local, natural and other resources in border villages of northern border and to empower youth and women through social entrepreneurship promotion, skill development and entrepreneurship.
