Madhya Pradesh / Chhindwara: Childless even after 25 years of marriage, couple consumed poison in a dispute, tried to kill themselves, husband died

A family living in Devrikalan in Chaurai of Chhindwara came to an end due to a family dispute. The couple did not have children after 25 years of marriage. They used to have a dispute about this. There was a dispute between the two again on Tuesday morning as well. After this, first the husband consumed poison and then the wife also consumed sulfas tablet. Both were brought from Chaurai to the district hospital for treatment, where the husband succumbed.

Chaurai TI Shashi Vishwakarma said that 42-year-old Santosh father Bhavani Prasad Soni and his wife Vimalabai Soni, residents of Devrikalan, were admitted to the hospital for treatment after consuming sulfas. After the condition became critical, the relatives took him to the district hospital. Santosh Soni died in the district hospital during treatment. His wife Vimalabai’s treatment is going on. Santosh and Vimalabai have been married for almost 25 years. They didn’t have children. There was often a dispute between the two. There was a dispute between the two on Tuesday morning as well. Santosh ate two tablets of sulfas before eight o’clock in the morning and Vimla also ate one tablet. The husband died while the condition of the wife remains critical.
