Due to anger over the murder of a 7-year-old girl in Kolkata, people surrounded the Tiljala police station and started protesting fiercely. Policemen reached the spot and controlled the agitated crowd. The accused killer Alok Kumar has been arrested by the police. According to information, the accused is a resident of Samastipur in Bihar.
The police said that in the initial investigation, it was found from the accused that in the desire of a son, he had sacrificed the girl child to please Maa Durga. He told that he did not have a son. He wanted a son. A tantrik advised him that if he sacrifices a girl child, the mother will be pleased and give him the boon of a son. That is why he sacrificed the girl child. At present, the police is probing the statement of the accused. Along with this, she is also searching for the tantrik who had given her this advice.

According to information, a seven-year-old girl was missing from her house since Sunday morning. After a lot of research, when no trace of the girl was found, the relatives lodged a complaint about her missing in the police station.
