1.Aadhaar to PAN link
Let us tell you that the last date for linking PAN with Aadhaar is 31st March. But the Income Tax has extended its date. Now till June, Aadhaar can be linked with pan. But there is a special thing in this that whoever links Aadhaar with PAN card from April 1 will have to pay the late fee. For which a fee of Rs 1000 has been fixed. If someone does not do this, then his pen will be deactivated.
2.Import duty will decrease
Let us tell you that the implementation of all the announcements made by the government during the budget session is going to start from April 1. During the budget, the Finance Minister had announced reduction in import duty on many goods. Like LED TV, mobile phone, mobile camera, electric vehicles etc. It is being told that if you buy all these goods after April 1, then you will get cheaper. Because the government is going to reduce the import duty on these from 1st April. Apart from this, the cells and cycles used in lithium-iron batteries will become cheaper.
3.Import duty will increase
Let us tell you that while the import duty on some things will be reduced, the duty on some things will also be increased from April 1. Because of which the prices of cigarettes, liquor, kitchen chimney, gold, silver, platinum, X-ray machines will also become expensive from April 1. The new prices of all these things will be implemented from April 1, 2023. That’s why April 1 holds great importance in your life.
4.Toll tax expensive
At the same time, let us tell you that on April 1, toll tax will be increased on many highways of the country. For example, the toll of Mumbai Pune Expressway has been increased by up to 18 percent. This increase will be valid from April 1. That is, from April 1, you will have to pay the increased toll-tax.
5.Medicines are expensive
Medicines related to diabetes, painkillers, antibiotics and heart diseases will become costlier from April 1. Along with this, cardiac medicines, anti-infection medicines, vitamins medicines, medicines for skin diseases have been included in the list of being expensive. From April 1, customers will have to buy medicines at the increased price. Due to which your treatment will become very expensive.
6.Fixing of maximum price of 25 medicines
According to the notification of NPPA, the maximum price of the rates which are to be increased has been fixed. No retailer or wholesale seller will be able to charge higher price. The rates of 25 medicines have been fixed. They include medicines for diseases like fungal infection, itraconazole capsule, high BP, pain killer, camilofin tablet, diabetes, etc.
7. Scrap policy applicable
In Uttar Pradesh, the country’s largest state, the rules regarding the scrap policy have been made stricter from April 1. Means now 10 year old diesel and 15 year old petrol vehicles will be seized and taken to the scrap yard. Where considering 65% of its total weight, the concerned vehicle owner will be paid Rs.22 per kg. Along with this, there is a provision to give only 90 percent payment.
8.UPI payment expensive
From April 1, the rule regarding UPI payment has also come into force. Although this rule is valid for traders. For example, a provision has been made to levy 1.1 percent surcharge on transactions above Rs.2000. However, this will not make any difference to normal transactions.
9.The prices of these things will increase
It was announced to increase excise duty on import of things like cigarettes, liquor, umbrella etc. Which will be implemented from 1 April. Along with kitchen chimney, gold, silver, platinum, X-ray machine, the prices of liquor and cigarettes will be increased. That is, from April 1, all your above things will be available at more expensive prices than before.
