Uttarakhand: Again officers will be shuffled like cards! Dhami will start the era of transfers?
Administrative reshuffle can happen soon at the government level. There are discussions in administrative circles about replacement of District Magistrates and Police Captains of some districts. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami may approve the proposal for transfers after getting rid of the busyness of organizing the first meeting of G-20.
Garhwal Commissioner Sushil Kumar is retiring on 31 March. The government can make a senior bureaucrat sit on this chair. There are talks of sending the DM of a district to this post. At present, the possibilities of changing the District Magistrates of the districts are being expressed, three are from Garhwal and only three are from Kumaon division.
Similar possibilities are being expressed to change the police captains of the three districts.
