Chardham Yatra 2023 will start from April 22, orders of Garhwal commissioner, complete the related work by April 15
Uttarakhand Chardham Yatra 2023 is going to start from 22nd April. To take stock of the preparations for Chardham Yatra, Garhwal Commissioner Sushil Kumar reached Rishikesh on Saturday, April 1, where he inspected the BTC complex. During this, Garhwal Commissioner Sushil Kumar expressed his displeasure over the non-completion of the transit camp building. On the spot, Garhwal Commissioner Sushil Kumar ordered the executing agency to complete the construction work of the transit camp building by April 15 under any circumstances. Apart from this, the Garhwal Commissioner has instructed the subordinate officers to improve the arrangements for waiting room, parking charging, food and registration.
In fact, on Friday, March 31 evening, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reviewed the preparations for the Chardham Yatra. During the review itself, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had instructed Garhwal Commissioner Sushil Kumar to go to Rishikesh to take stock of the arrangements for the Chardham Yatra and rectify any deficiencies in time. After reaching Rishikesh, the Garhwal Commissioner first inspected the BTC premises. During this, he himself saw the basic facilities like electricity, water and toilets for the convenience of lakhs of pilgrims coming. The Garhwal commissioner instructed the agency to complete the construction work of the transit camp building by 15th April.
Please tell that the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham are opening on 22 April. At the same time, on April 25, the doors of Kedarnath Dham remained open. The doors of Badrinath Temple, the fourth Dham, are going to open on 27 April. The weather is becoming the biggest obstacle in the preparations for the Chardham Yatra. Because for the last few days, the period of continuous rain and snowfall is going on in the mountains.
