Uttarakhand: The ambulance was going from Dehradun to Rishikesh with sirens blaring, the police got suspicious; If you stop, you will be shocked to see the inside view

Smugglers are adopting new tactics to smuggle liquor. Ranipokhari police station has busted a gang which was smuggling liquor under the guise of an ambulance. The woman was being taken lying down in the ambulance. When the ambulance was checked, 20 cases of liquor were found in it. The police have arrested four including the woman.

Ambulance arrived with siren
Senior Superintendent of Police Dalip Singh Kunwar said that on the night of March 30, SHO of Ranipokhari, Shishupal Rana was checking the vehicles along with the police party. Meanwhile, the ambulance reached while playing the signal. Indicating the ambulance to stop, when asked the reason for blowing the siren without any reason, the driver got scared seeing the police.

When the ambulance was checked, a woman was seen lying in it, which looked suspicious. During the search of the ambulance, 20 cases of liquor were recovered from it. Liquor was being taken from Dehradun to Rishikesh.

The accused have been identified as Raveena Bhatnagar resident Kumarwada Adarsh village Rishikesh, Abhishek resident Valmiki Basti Railway Road Rishikesh, Prince resident Bapugram Rishikesh and Sunny resident Virbhadra Rishikesh.

Police Station President Ranipokhari Shishupal Rana said that cases of liquor smuggling have already been registered against the accused Raveena Bhatnagar.

Took the help of an ambulance to escape from the police
During interrogation, the accused said that they have been involved in the liquor smuggling business for a long time. Police rarely stop ambulances, so they had resorted to ambulances.

It is being told that the woman Raveena earlier had her own ambulance, through which she used to smuggle marijuana. Some people caught him smuggling ganja and broke the ambulance. He then contacted Abhishek, an ambulance driver, and planned to start smuggling liquor from his ambulance.

Gram smack with three dhare
Raiwala police station arrested three accused with 40 grams of smack. Station Officer Kuldeep Pant told that on Thursday night he was checking vehicles at the railway underpass Raiwala. Meanwhile, three youths riding a scooty were stopped.

Smack was recovered from him during the search. The accused have been identified as Rohit Malhotra, resident of GMS Road, Dehradun, Vicky Rana, resident of village Agudh, district Karnal, Haryana and Sunaina Malhotra, resident of GMS Road.
