Dhami government is also thinking, will the lessons of Mughals not be taught in the schools of Uttarakhand?

The Central Government has decided to remove the history of Mughals from the history books for the upcoming academic session 2023-24. The Uttar Pradesh government has also decided to implement the decision of the central government in its state. In this sequence, this decision of the Central Government is being implemented in Uttarakhand as well. On the question of removing the chapter of Mughal period from the NCERT history book, CM Dhami said that the government is assessing it. After Uttar Pradesh, political politics has started heating up in Uttarakhand regarding this matter.

Separated from Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand became a separate state on November 9, 2000. It has always been influenced by the decisions of Uttar Pradesh. Whenever a decision is taken in Uttar Pradesh, the decision related to it is also seen in Uttarakhand. Recently, the Uttar Pradesh government has decided that Mughal history will be removed from the history books of higher secondary schools. In this regard, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the government is still assessing the matter. CM Dhami said that the government is doing the work of implementing those decisions in the state which are taking good decisions. Overall, it can be said that the history of the Mughal period may disappear from the syllabus in Uttarakhand as well.

Please tell that there are about 21,093 schools in Uttarakhand. Of these, the number of secondary schools is about 2200. 2 lakh 59 thousand 340 children had registered for the recently concluded board exams. In which 1 lakh 32 thousand 104 children of high school and 1 lakh 27 thousand 236 children of intermediate are included. During the upcoming academic session, there is a possibility of about 1 lakh 25 thousand students in high school and 1 lakh 18 thousand students in intermediate. Apart from this, there will be a change in the syllabus of children in class nine and class 11. Whose number is about 2 lakh 30 thousand including high school and intermediate.

Giving information about removing the history of Mughals from the syllabus, BJP’s state spokesperson Virendra Bisht said that CM Dhami is also focusing on the fact that children should read only what is inspiring for children. Whatever will be taught or taught to the children, the children behave accordingly. He said that Mughals can neither be an inspiration nor a source of inspiration. The Mughals have tortured the people of the country. Have done the work of destroying our culture. Not only this, the work of looting and hollowing out the country has also been done by the Mughals. Therefore, if the chapter on the Mughal period is being removed, it is welcome.

The Congress is accusing the whole matter of doing politics. State spokesperson of Congress, Garima Dasauni said that whose history has disappeared and whose has been kept, these things are meaningless, but the point is that after 2014 India has become independent. History is being written in a new way. In such a situation, who will be great and who will be made minor in this history, it will be decided by the one who is in power. Along with this, today politics is being done regarding religion and army as well as the judiciary. Overall, the present government is going to change the syllabus only in the desire to become a man of history.
