Uttarakhand: DG (Health) made Radiologist CMS without the permission of the government, Secretary Health canceled the order, set up an inquiry

Director General (Health) Dr. Vineeta Shah herself appointed Dr. Khempal, Radiologist at LD Bhatt Hospital in Kashipur (UDN) as CMS without taking the approval of the government. When Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar, Secretary of the Department came to know about this, he not only Posting was cancelled, but also ordered an inquiry at the government level, instructing Dr. Shah to clarify within a week.

Dr. Bhatt, who was made CMS without the approval of the government, also took charge on April 3. Secretary Dr. Rajesh took immediate action as soon as he came to know about it. He formed the inquiry committee. Chairman of the committee, Additional Secretary Amarjit Kaur Under Secretary Jaswinder Kaur and Sunil Doval have also been included in the committee.

In the instructions given by the Additional Secretary to the DG, it has been said that if the written reply of the clarification is not received within a week, then the government will assume that they have nothing to say. Then the government will take a decision on its own. The government has expressed displeasure in its notice. It is said that the posting was given to Dr. Bhatt without the competent approval (govt.). The posting order issued by the DG itself and the government bypassed is being seen with great surprise.

Any order is issued only with the approval of the government. Especially as the close secretary of CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, Dr. R. Rajesh is not only considered very strict, but he has made the health and medical department very alive. Posting them keeping them in the dark is being seen as a crisis for DG Dr. Vineeta.
