Union Health Minister holds meeting with health ministers of several states, Chintan Shivir to be held in Uttarakhand after May 10

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya held a meeting with health ministers of several states regarding the ever-increasing cases of corona infection across the country. During the meeting, the Union Health Minister instructed all the states to remain alert. Along with this, he said that special attention should be paid to testing in their respective states. Apart from this, the way new variants are being found in the state, attention should also be paid to genome sequencing. Not only this, while giving special attention to the states on vaccination, the Union Health Minister also talked about making people aware about it. After the contemplation camp held in Gujarat, now the Union Health Minister has given instructions regarding the holding of contemplation camp in Uttarakhand. It has been decided in the meeting that after May 10, Chintan Shivir will be organized in Uttarakhand. In which health ministers of all the states will be involved. Mainly, several rounds of meetings will be held in the three-day Chintan Shivir. After this, Uttarakhand’s Health Minister Dhan Singh Rawat has given instructions to make officers for the upcoming Chintan Shivir.
Health Minister Dhan Singh Rawat held a meeting with the departmental officers. In view of the Corona infection in the meeting, it was decided to hold a meeting of all the district officers and health officials of the state on April 9. Along with this, on April 10, it was also considered to conduct mock drill in government hospitals in view of corona infection across the state. During the meeting, Health Minister Dhan Singh Rawat instructed the officials that talks should be held with the health workers who have completed 5 years in the remote areas of the state, if the workers want to come to the accessible areas, then they should be transferred. Apart from this, it was decided to hold a review meeting on the 30th of every month regarding the expenditure incurred by the department.
Apart from this, the Health Department is now engaged in the exercise of posting its employees in its own department. In view of this, Health Minister Dhan Singh Rawat has instructed Medical College Director Ashutosh Saina to release the health department employees posted in medical colleges within the next 50 days, so that the shortage of employees in the health department can be met. Apart from this, instructions have been given to the officials of the health department to print a pocket diary for the health department. In which information about what to do to stay healthy and what schemes and facilities the state government is providing to the public should be available. Apart from this, instructions have also been given to the officers in this regard to fill the vacant posts of ANMs in the state. Before the annual renewal of health workers recruited under NHM in the state, it should be ensured that those workers are also appointed for the next year.
