Uttar Pradesh: Police stopped the procession in Moradabad, it was being taken out without permission, the organizers expressed displeasure

In Moradabad, on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, the police has stopped the procession without permission. The case pertains to Ashok Nagar Colony located behind the jail in Civil Lines police station area. The police had allowed 20-25 people, including some women, to take out the Kalash Yatra here. But on the permission of Kalash Yatra, the local people were preparing to take out a procession with tableaux.

As soon as the information was received that the procession was taken out without permission, the Civil Lines Police immediately reached the spot and stopped the procession even before it started. Police said that no event or procession can be allowed to take place without permission. After this, heavy force was deployed on the spot. In this case, the police have also noted the names of those who tried to take out the procession without permission. Force has been deployed on the spot.

The organizers told that they have been taking out the procession for the last 15 years. The police told the organizers that if they have to take out the procession, they will have to get permission from the administration. After this, some people have applied to the ADM for permission for Shobha Yatra. Organizers say that after getting permission, they will take out the procession.
