Listen Justice H Verma, when Congress will get power, we will cut off your tongue. Manikandan is badly trapped by making this statement. Tamil Nadu Police has registered a case against him under three sections. The Dindigul police have started an investigation into his statement.
2 years imprisonment in criminal defamation case of 2019
Last month, Rahul Gandhi was convicted in a 2019 criminal defamation case over his “Modi surname” remark at a rally. He was sentenced to two years in prison. Following his conviction, Rahul Gandhi was disqualified as a Member of Parliament.
