Uttarakhand: Our youth should adopt self-employment and become employment providers, our aim is to make youth self-reliant – Chief Minister
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has called upon the youth to become employment providers by paying attention to self-employment. He said that employment opportunities in the government sector are limited, so the youth will have to pay attention to self-employment. The state government is standing with the youth in this direction and is trying to make them self-reliant. On the occasion of a cultural evening organized by a news channel in the Uttaranchal University campus on Friday evening, the Chief Minister gave information about the work being done by the state government in the interest of the youth in the youth dialogue program. The Chief Minister said that our youth are the leaders of the future, youth have to be determined to achieve their goals. The Chief Minister called upon the youth to be cooperative in achieving the goal set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make the third decade of the 21st century the decade of Uttarakhand. Our efforts are continuing to make maximum employment available to the youth of the state.
The Chief Minister said that self-employment oriented policies of various departments have been made in the interest of the youth. Our effort is to use the potential of our youth in the interest of the state. On this occasion, the youth singers of the state gave many presentations of songs and music. The Chief Minister also sang the evergreen song Bedu Pako Bara Masa of Uttarakhand along with singer Jubin Nautiyal. The Chief Minister said that our government is dedicated to the youth. We have taken strict action against the recruitment mafia. We have implemented the country’s most stringent anti-copying law so that no one even thinks of cheating our youth. Examinations are being conducted with complete transparency and timeliness. Three examinations have been successfully conducted in which three lakh youth have appeared.
The Chief Minister said that for the first time in the state, in folk languages and folk literature, Kumaoni, Garhwali, other dialects and dialects of Uttarakhand, creation of long-term excellent literature in Punjabi and Urdu and continuous literary service and excellent composition in Hindi for fiction and other prose genres. Uttarakhand Sahitya Gaurav Samman will be given every year. It has also been decided to honor 4 budding budding writers in three folk languages Garhwali, Kumaoni and Jaunsari and Hindi language every year. The Chief Minister said that we had promised Uniform Civil Code before the elections and we also got a lot of blessings from Janata Janardan. The committee constituted for Uniform Civil Code is preparing the draft after taking suggestions from public representatives, various organizations, institutions, common people etc. Our government has passed the Uttarakhand Freedom of Religion (Amendment) Bill to stop religious conversion by force or allurement.
The Chief Minister said that strict action is being taken to remove illegal encroachments in the state and instructions have been given to remove any kind of encroachment on government land without delay.
