Uttarakhand: BJP encircles Congress on the issue of illegal religious encroachments, Joshi said – Congress’s advocacy on illegal religious encroachments is not embracing

On the issue of illegal religious encroachments, the BJP has termed the Congress’s comparison of tombs with mythological temples as an insult to Sanatani culture. State spokesperson Suresh Joshi took a dig at the Congress state president and his leaders and said that Devbhoomi is the land of temples, so the residents of the state are not going to tolerate the comparison being made with temples to save the illegal tombs built in the name of dead bodies. .

Releasing the statement, Joshi said that the statements of the Congress and the opposition against the demolition campaign of illegal religious encroachment, which has become a challenge to the Sanatani culture and law and order of Devbhoomi under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, are highly objectionable. He criticized and said, to appease a particular class, they are comparing shrines with temples. Under which his argument is derogatory that like prestigious and mythological temples, tombs built illegally on government land should also be regularized or demolished considering all the sites as one.

He made it clear that the land of Uttarakhand is the land of Gods, God resides in every particle of it. Therefore, comparing the constructions built by illegal occupation in the memory of a deceased soul with temples is an insult to Sanatani culture and the land of God. It is our culture which dedicates the forest to God for the welfare of the environment and human beings. So that people do not cut the forest, stay safe and imbibe the importance of environment in their daily routine. Everyone should welcome the action being taken against the illegal encroachments made for ugly and criminal intent in such a deity-like forest. But alas, Congress wants to save illegal tombs by taking the guise of mythological temples to please the special class. Expressing confidence, he said that the BJP government will never allow any such attempt to succeed.
