Amit Shah said – People of Arunachal do not say Namaste, they say Jai Hind

Amit Shah said- Arunachal Pradesh has a very special and good thing, when you meet the people here, they do not greet. People here say Jai Hind. No one can encroach here, the reason for this is the patriotism of the people here.

Remembering the soldiers of Kibithu who were martyred in the 1962 war, Shah said – Our soldiers fought bravely even after the number was less. In 1965, Time magazine also praised the bravery of the Indian Army in this battle. The first ray of the Sun in India falls on this land. Lord Parshuram had named it Arunachal Pradesh. It is a shining jewel in the crown of Mother India.

He said that due to the bravery of ITBP and Army personnel, no one can see the borders of our country by raising their eyes. Now that time has gone when anyone could occupy the land of India. Today no one can occupy the land even as the tip of a needle.

Launching the ‘Vibrant Villages Program’ in Kibithu village, Shah said- PM Modi has decided to start Vibrant Village Program to provide employment and development in border villages. In the coming years, every house adjacent to the border will get water, electricity, gas-cylinder and employment to the people. These villages will be connected to other parts of the country and other parts of Arunachal.

Congress said – PM Modi is responsible for this act of China
Congress leader Jairam Ramesh held Prime Minister Narendra Modi responsible for renaming places in China’s Arunachal Pradesh. In a statement issued by the Congress, it was said that PM Modi had given a clean chit to China in June 2020. Now we have to pay the price for it. The Chinese army is rejecting India’s patrolling rights in the Despang field. Whereas earlier India had access to this area without any hindrance.

Shah reached Assam first, left for Arunachal from here
Amit Shah is on a 2-day tour of Assam and Arunachal. Shah reached Dibrugarh in Assam at around 3 pm on Monday afternoon. He was received at the airport by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. From here Amit Shah left for Arunachal Pradesh. The Home Minister launched the ‘Vibrant Villages Programme’ at Kibithu village in Arunachal.

Home Minister Amit Shah gave this information by tweeting on 10 April. He wrote- Today is an important day. Vibrant Villages Program will start from Arunachal Pradesh. Its purpose is to provide employment to the people in the villages adjacent to the border and they can develop.

What is Vibrant Villages Program
VVP is a scheme of the Center to help people living in border villages to improve their lifestyle by providing basic facilities. For this, 2,967 villages have been identified in 46 blocks in 19 districts of Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Union Territory of Ladakh.

The PM Modi-led government has approved Rs 4,800 crore for VVP along with Rs 2,500 crore for road connectivity for the financial year 2022-23 to 2025-26. In the first phase of VVP, priority will be given to 455 villages out of 662 in Arunachal Pradesh.
