Ansar Ali, resident of Ismailganj, Buldiya Tower, Lucknow, is a Junior Engineer in Police Housing Corporation Limited. On April 6, he had come to see the construction work of the barrack being done in Basti Police Line. After meeting the Executive Engineer of the Mohaddipur office, left for Lucknow by Kushinagar Express. There was a dispute with the TTE over sitting in the AC coach of the train.
Engineer sent to jail for assault and obstructing government work
After the incident, TTE Mazhar Hussain filed a case against Ansar Ali in the GRP police station alleging assault and obstructing government work. After this GRP sent him to jail. In-charge Inspector GRP Police Station Vijay Pratap Singh told that in the video TTE is seen beating the junior engineer. On receipt of Tahrir, action will be taken against the accused by registering a case.
