Uttarakhand: Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Nainital to give a gift of 219 crores, Congressmen created ruckus; Said- Chief Minister go back

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was on Nainital tour today. He laid the foundation stone and inaugurated schemes worth crores in the city. Along with this, he will participate in the Kumaon Dwar Mahotsav program being organized in Haldwani.

On reaching Nainital, MLA Sarita Arya and MLA Ram Singh Kaida, Commissioner Deepak Rawat, DM Dhiraj Garbyal besides BJP workers welcomed the Chief Minister. CM will rest at State Guest House Kathgodam on Monday night. During the tour, one and a half hours time has been reserved in Nainital and about three and a half hours in Bhawali.

Congressmen raised slogans of Chief Minister Go Back

On the other hand, in Nainital city, Congress workers created ruckus even before the proposed program of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Showing black flags, more than a dozen workers raised slogans of Chief Minister Go Back.

Meanwhile, there was a fierce tussle between the workers and the police. The protesting workers have been arrested. All the workers including Kailash Adhikari, Bantu Arya, Pawan Jatav, Nitin Jatav and Avinash Kumar were present in the protesters.

Inauguration and foundation stone laying of 142 schemes worth 219 crores

Leaving the reserved time in Nainital, spent about an hour in the program organized near CM Pant Park. Where he inaugurated six schemes of drinking water, one scheme each of PMGSY and Urban Development Department worth Rs 13.28 crore.

Along with this, he laid the foundation stone of 134 schemes worth 206 crores, which includes schemes of Ayush Department, Urban Development Department, PMGSY along with Peyjay.
