Chhattisgarh: In Jagdalpur, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and BJP workers openly took oath to boycott Muslim and Christian society

During the Chhattisgarh bandh called after the Bemetara violence in Jagdalpur, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and BJP workers took an oath to boycott Muslim and Christian societies. This oath was taken openly and veteran leaders of BJP were also present in it. After the violence in Bemetara, VHP and BJP workers took the oath of boycott. VHP Bastar chief Mukesh Chandak administered the oath
Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s Bastar chief Mukesh Chandak administered the oath to the workers. District President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Lakhir Baghel said that all Hindus have taken an oath that the special community which includes people of Muslim and Christian religion will be boycotted financially.
Oath of economic boycott
Activists of BJP and Vishwa Hindu Parishad have taken an oath of economic boycott of the particular community which includes people of Muslim- Christian religion. Business transactions with the people of these communities have taken an oath not to take goods or any goods from their establishments and not to do any transaction. Former Bastar MP Dinesh Kashyap, Rajkumar of Bastar royal family and former chairman of Youth Commission Kamalchand Bhanjdev, BJP spokesperson Sanjay Pandey, BJP leader Yogendra Pandey and people of the city were present during the swearing- in. On the other hand, Raza Unity Foundation Chhattisgarh has opposed this oath.
