Defense Minister returns to Israel, Netanyahu was sacked a month ago, forced to call after Lebanese attacks

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu again made Yoav Gallant the Defense Minister. Yoav was sacked a month ago because he opposed the Prime Minister’s judicial reforms.

Now the tension between Israel and Lebanon has increased, so Yoav has again been given a place in the cabinet. According to media reports, Yov was not ready to become the Defense Minister again. The Prime Minister himself persuaded him. Along with Syria, Lebanon, the Palestinian terrorist organization is also attacking Israel.

Two more deaths

Attacks on Israel continue. They are not stopping even in the holy month of Ramzan. Along with a boy, a woman also died on Monday. The two daughters of this woman were killed last week. On Wednesday, the Israeli police took action in the Al-Aqsa Mosque. After this, 34 rockets were fired from Lebanon on Israel.

The Israeli army alleges that this rocket attack is actually being carried out by the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas. After this, Israel carried out tremendous airstrikes in Palestine-occupied Gaza and Lebanon. Prime Minister Netanyahu said – no one should get the misconception that he can attack Israel by hiding in Lebanon.

Why gallant is important

▪️After persuasion, Netanyahu again handed over the Defense Ministry to Yoav Gallant. The biggest reason for this is that Yoav has a lot of experience in security and intelligence and Israel almost destroyed Hamas while he was the intelligence chief.

▪️On 26 March, Yeov protested against judicial reforms and was dismissed by the Prime Minister the same evening. Now that the attacks on Israel are increasing, Netanyahu considered Yoav the most capable person and took him back to the cabinet.
