Uttarakhand: BJP’s taunt on Congress State President Karan Mahara’s one year tenure, Bhatt said – factionalism away from public concerns was one year’s achievement

Taking a dig at Congress President Karan Mahara for describing one year’s tenure as full of achievements, the BJP said that his one year was spent in factionalism and propaganda by staying away from public concerns. BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt told reporters in an informal conversation that what is the achievement that the Congress president is talking about. The Congress organization is far away from the public in service works and could not become the voice of the common people on any platform. The work of the opposition should always be to cooperate in constructive works and alert and give suggestions to the government, but the opposition in the state has been doing the politics of mere accusations and propaganda. He said that in one year, the Dhami government has put many schemes of public interest on the ground, but instead of appreciating it, the opposition was engaged in creating a negative environment. But the Congress organization of the state has been inciting the unemployed regarding this. Work is going on in the state with the help of the Center on development schemes worth one and a half lakh crores, but the Congress is not able to digest even this.
Bhatt said that at present the government is running a campaign to free the Dev Bhoomi from illegal religious encroachment, but the appeasement face of the Congress has come to the fore here too. Congress is not worried about the state’s policy, customs and Sanatani culture, but is worried about vote bank.
He said that one year of the Congress President was limited to factionalism and high command parikrama. Big satraps are targeting each other as per their convenience and the reality of internal democracy has also come to the fore. Ankita’s killers are in jail, so the copycat mafias have been sent behind bars. However, Congress has come several times in support of copycat mafias and copycats and this has exposed its double standards. Instead of celebrating, the Congress needs to engage in service by going among the public. He is not going to get any benefit from bad publicity.
