Uttarakhand: CM Dhami arrives at the convocation of Sri Guru Ram Rai University, distributes degrees and medals to students

The first convocation ceremony of Sri Guru Ram Rai University was held in Dehradun today. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was the chief guest and Higher Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat arrived as the chief guest. During the function, CM Dhami awarded degrees and medals to the students.
5386 students received degrees
Chancellor Dr. Ajay Kumar Khanduri said that 5386 students were conferred degrees at the convocation ceremony, out of which 215 meritorious students were awarded gold medals. 34 researchers were awarded Ph.D. Four students of SGRR University were awarded the Chancellor’s Trophy. Two distinguished personalities of the society were also conferred the honorary degree of D-Lit on behalf of the University.
